Remarkable interaction

Once every few years, technology surprises me positively. E‑ink screens, quality wireless headphones, the app grid in Apple Watches, what Panic was able to achieve with Playdate…

Recently, I was surprised by my tablet. After a new software update, I can start drawing lines as I’ve been doing it all my life, and all it takes to make the line straight is to hold the stylus against the screen for a moment at the end—the line automatically straightens out. There is something magical, delightful, and elegant about this interaction. It’s just one of those little things that give people a superpower they didn’t have 2 minutes before.
