Phones are changing

Until recently, insufficient storage was the main reason for me to replace my phone.

This has changed. After several years, the only bad thing I can say about my phone is that the Lightning port stopped working at some point. Still, this wasn’t a good enough reason for me to replace the phone. This problem just convinced me to charge my phone wirelessly. Later on, it turned out that a wooden toothpick can solve the problem.

The whole situation inspired me to look for a Lightning port cap. They exist!

This prompted a thought: Apple uses USB‑C instead of Lightning in their new phones. I’ll be able to use YubiKey 5C Nano as a port cap for my next phone. I don’t know yet if it’s a good idea, but I think I’ll give it a try. As soon as Apple releases the successor to the iPhone 13 mini.
